A lesson from nature...(my first merch!)

With spring finally here and summer approaching, it dawned on me there are many things that we can learn from nature. One of the biggest lessons is that nothing grows overnight. Seasons always take time to change, and there are no shortcuts around this. 

In pursuing my dreams as an artist, this continues to ring true. Have you ever felt that you've been preparing your whole life for something that you are yet to see? I've literally been fascinated with the world of rap since the age of five (buying cassette tapes from Sam Goody to play on my Walkman, any body remember those days?). I started rapping along with the radio and writing raps around the 4th or 5th Grade. Since then, I've been captivated by the impact an MC had on shaping culture and how we see the world, and knew I had to be a part of the hip hop world!

I've taken more steps than ever this year towards creating music, performing and being an all around artist. I can't wait for you to hear the project we've been holding and to get started on the new stuff we're creating. I look forward to more shows and great connections going forward. However, regardless of what may come, I know that these are simply seeds being planted. I must keep in mind seeds must be cultivated and cared for long term. I'm looking to build something that will last. Therefore, I know I must build it from the ground up. I'd love for you to be a part of this process with me.

And...oh yeah, I've got my first merch! Those who know me already, know that I love socks. Therefore, I thought it'd be fitting to have my first piece of merch be socks. These socks not only look dope, but are a metaphor for building something from the ground up! I'd love for you to pick up a pair, show them off all summer and build a dream with me...from the ground up!
